- Description: Here for sale is the uniquely Gretsch model G5135 Electromatic CVT "Corvette". 1st designed in 1961 (with several early revisions), the new Electromatic corvette shares essentially the same design as its 1960's ancestors, with a few modern improvements. The G5135 is a thin, lightweight solid body electric with great balance and a very ergonomic design. The sound is wide open with plenty of sustain and punch. The Corvette makes a great rock guitar but is suited to play many styles of music. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes with the full Gretsch Limited lifetime factory warranty.
