Description

Inspired by the historic Rex line of instruments offered by mail-order catalog in the '30s, '40s and '50s, the Gretsch Jim Dandy Concert embodies the charm and spirit of those early Gretsch flat-top guitars. It features a compact concert laminated basswood body with X-bracing, a C-shape nato neck and a walnut fingerboard.

Period-correct details such as a vintage-style pinned bridge, a G-graphic pickguard, painted pinstripe purfling, three-on-a-plate open-gear tuning machines and oversized dot inlays combine for a nostalgic personality destined for any barnburner or jamboree. Well suited for everything from bluesy porch pickin' to speakeasy swingin', the Gretsch Jim Dandy Concert is a ramblin' companion for newbies and old-timers alike.

As always, feel free to contact our store for more details, or with any questions.
