  • Description: This is a very special White Falcon! Originally ordered and built for Paul Cotton of Poco (pic of Paul included with this guitar) , then owned and used for many years by Nashville songwriter, performer, and television personality Gary Chapman, this particular guitar has a ton of vibe and the playability and sound that only the best Gretsches possess! It is missing it's pickguard, has a few chips in the finish, some minor checks, and some gentle plating wear. Toggle switch caps replaced. No cracks in the binding, never any breaks, or issues of any sort. It's aged to a nice Ivory shade. White backpad, big button Grover Rotomatics, horizontal logo, bent arm Bigsby, Filtertrons that are TV Jones rewound (oh the sound is lush!) excellent frets, a perfect neck profile, excellent low action, intonation and tuning stability. And, as a bonus, the wiring scheme on these late white Falcons actually make sense!! This guitar can cover it all from Rock to Jazz to Country to Rockabilly, and beyond. Doesn't feed back at high volumes due to the soundpost. Fantastic guitar that is way cooler than these pics can ever attest to. A bit pricey, no doubt, but this one is not your average bear! Original hardcase with badass lime green fur lining. Yeah!
