Description

Summary: 1962 was the first year that Guild started producing the T-50. This vintage slim-line guitar is a full hollowbody with an arched top & an arched back. The top on this guitar is fully bound.

Body: Arched laminated maple top & arched laminated back hollow-body electric guitar.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 20 frets.

Pickups/Hardware: One single Guild Franz P-90 style pickup, one volume knob, one tone knob, Guild chrome tailpiece. This guitar has a rosewood bridge, open-back 3-in-line tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This instrument shows normal wear for a guitar from the 1960’s – there are some small dings on the top & the back, some buckle rash on the back of the guitar & lots of wear around the edges on the back (with no binding). The headstock also has some noticeable wear around the edges. Overall this instrument looks like it has been played a lot but was also taken care of.

Playability: This old Guild plays great – the action is low & the instrument plays with no buzzing or dead spots. We set this guitar up with 10’s and the neck is in great shape. The frets do show some wear but they still have some life left in them.

Modifications: N/A

Weight: 5 lbs, 13 oz.

Case: Chipboard case
