Description: Harptone L-12NC 12-String Acoustic ***SOLD*** SEE PHOTOS INSIDE...CALL (323) 600-5050 TO PURCHASE OR FOR MORE INFO...offered for sale is this incredibly rare 1969 Harptone L-12NC 12-String acoustic guitar. Harptone guitars were built in NJ, USA by luthier Sam Koontz and were affiliated with the Standell company of California. These fantastic 12-string guitars were played by such artists as George Harrison, David Bowie, and Paul Simon. This particular instrument is nearly identical to the guitar owned and played by David Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust era. It has blonde maple back & sides, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, teardrop pickguard (just like Bowie's), and white binding (only difference to Bowie's black binding), and distinctive Harptone "H" headstock. Aside from the bridge having been professionally replaced, the instrument is all original. The guitar plays and sounds amazing!! The action is nice & low and it plays with ease. Includes gig bag case and will be packaged extremely well for shipping. Harptone guitars rarely come up for sale. This guitar is the next best thing to owning Bowie's actual Harptone and is an incredibly rare opportunity. Call 323-600-5050 for price, additional info, and more photos. ***SOLD***
