~2018 Hoffee OM/000 Black See-Thru Carbon Fibre, Red Velvet Interior
First generation Hoffee case that housed my 1940 000-28. The two never left the music room until this year when the 000-28 was sold to a friend along with the original case. The Hoffee is lonely and needs a new buddy.
I like this iteration of the Hoffee for the following reasons.
- Hardware. They've changed it around a bit. The current latches and clasps are very familiar and vintage-like.
- Presentation. The see-through carbon fiber and red velvet interior are simply gorgeous. It's also the same palate as the 1940 case.
- Protection. Padding it thick and perfectly sculpted.
At 13-14 lbs it's a little heavy but it feels good in the hands.
No strap. I've lost the key. I think Hoffee can fix you up with either or both. One tiny little nick in the top. New these are $1,300-1,400.
Guitar in the case is not for sale.
