  • Description: Serial # C04291. A professional-level Jazz guitar, the German-built Hofner New President features a cutaway 16” body of European spruce and figured laminate maple. Fingerboard, tailpiece, pickguard and bridge are ebony, and the Schaller mini-humbucker is wired to pickguard mounted controls. The instrument’s neck is round, comfortable and fast, and fretted with jumbo wire. 1-11/16” nut, 25.5” scale. The guitar has a huge acoustic voice, throaty and open, with a good chunckiness in comped chords and full, round single notes. It’s in excellent condition and set up with fast action and .011”-.052” chromes. With original hardshell case
