Designed from Paul McCartney's legendary bass, this violin reissue is one of the world's most easily recognizable instruments in both looks and sound.
Masterfully-built in Germany, this bass has a spruce top on a flame maple back and sides, complete with a hollow construction that lets the resonant thump stick out. It has a black/white/black binding complete with white sides, along with a flame maple neck hosting a rosewood fingerboard adorned with twenty-two narrow tall frets and pearl dot inlays.
The powerful Höfner staple nickel pickups are matched by gold top potentiometer knobs, built to match the inspirational tone that Paul rocked in the early sixties, and complete with all of the sustain and power underneath the Höfner pearl electronics panel.
