  • Description: Hudson Electronics, located in the UK, offer hand built fuzz pedals using point to point wiring on a vintage style perf boards, N.O.S. European Germanium transistors, and high quality components. These pedals are built with high attention to detail and sound as great as they look. The Hudson Soul Bomb is a Michael Hudson custom creation. It is a Mr Soul germanium fuzz and a Gospel Bomb germanium boost in one pedal. The two effects can be ran separate or together. When they are ran together the boost goes into the fuzz creating some huge wall of sound fuzz tones. The Mr Soul is Michael Hudson's spin on a MK 1.5 Tone Bender and an Arbiter Fuzz face. This one came loaded with an OC75 and OC72 that are tested, matched and biased to the sweet spot. Nice fat, warm fuzz with some good knarl that cleans up real nice with the volume control on your guitar. Lots of sustain and killer tone! The Gospel Bomb is a germanium boost pedal based on the famous Rangemaster. The addition of a thickness control allows you to adjust the overall tone from brighter range to fat thick range. Loaded with an OC45, using the Gospel Bomb pedal on its own in front of any amp with a sensitive preamp section, ie Vox, Marshall, tweed, will send the amp into natural overdrive with sweet mids and singing sustain. Using the Bomb in conjunction with the Mr Soul will create fuzz tones that you swear will blow up your amp. I'm talking HUGE!!!!! Michael does not build many of these pedals so get one while you can.
