  • Description: This limited edition guitar built in Japan is number 706 out of 777 built. We ordered this guitar in 1987 and it arrived in 1988. It has rarely been out of its case and has never been played. The back of the body is numbered and hand signed by Steve Vai. The basswood body and front of the headstock are painted Loch Ness green. The guitar was the classic JEM monkey grip. The maple neck and fingerboard features three color disappearing pyramid inlays and 24 frets with cosmo black hardware and tuners. The black pickguard and back cover retain their original plastic protection film. The three pink pickups are from Dimarzio - there are PAF Pro humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions and a single in the middle. The volume and tone knobs are yellow and the 5-way lever is pink. The tremolo is an Ibanez Edge with deep scalloped routing. The black pink lined case has a couple of tiny dents and the cosmo black whammy bar has been replaced with an Ibanez black bar. This guitar is very collectable and in immaculate condition.
