  • Description: The Kelly Std was part of the Professional Series (Japanese import line) of Jackson guitars from the mid 1990s. It has a poplar body, dual humbuckers, (J-50 in the neck and J-92C in the bridge) a JT580LP bridge, one volume knob, a 3-way toggle switch, a bolt-on 24-fret quarter-sawn maple neck with rosewood fretboard and white dot inlays. The Kelly's distinct body shape gives unique tone and sustain and also puts the neck further out than other guitars making it very easy to play high up the neck. The neck back shape is probably the thinnest of all Jacksons, as it is "cut out" towards the center of the guitar, the "fast" neck makes it easy to play on.
