Scott Ian is best known as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the thrash metal band Anthrax. Ian is the guitarist and a founding member of the crossover thrash band Stormtroopers of Death for which he is also the lyricist. He has hosted The Rock Show on VH1 and has appeared on VH1's I Love the... series, Heavy: The Story of Metal, and SuperGroup. Ian is also the rhythm guitarist for the metal band the Damned Things and played with experimental band Mr. Bungle for seven reunion shows in 2020. Scott has been playing Jackson guitars almost exclusively his entire career. Scott has been a signature Jackson artist since 2010. He's the main catalyst behind Anthrax, known has one of the big four thrash metal bands that established the genre. The King V "Baldini" is Scott's most prized guitar-created in tribute to a late friend and well known metal guitar virtuoso.

The new X Series Scott Ian KVX King V™ "Baldini", offering a 24.75" scale length, Nyatoh body draped in an elegant flame maple top, through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint. The 12"-16" compound radius laurel or rosewood fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays. Its versatile voice is powered by a pair of Jackson® high output humbucking pickups. This signature axe also features a Floyd Rose® Special double locking bridge, Jackson die-cast tuners and pointed 6-in-line-headstock.
