Holy Moly we have another Tyler! Offered is another incredible piece of sonic artwork from James Tyler. This one is an unplayed Studio Elite HD Shmear from 2014. This guitar has a solid Mamywo body, a quartersawn maple neck with the Standard '59 neck shape (.860" to .975" on this one) and a gorgeous dark Indian rosewood fret board. The electronics on this guitar are composed of two JTS5500 single coils and a Super humbucker, along with volume, tone, 5-way and midboost with (full) bypass button. This instrument is the guitarist's version of a Star Wars light saber. In talented hands (not mine), this thing can be a light weight (7.1 pounds), deadly and precise musical weapon. This thing is resonant as all get out and the smooth dry feel of Tyler's necks is to die for. While shaped like a Strat, there really is nothing quite like a Tyler. This Shmear finish is called "Rasta" but it looks more like a 60's-era tie-dye pattern to me. Whatever you call it, it is quite unique and I dig it! This guitar is in unplayed condition and still has the protective film on the pickguard, bridge humbucker and rear cavity cover. It comes with it's original Tyler G&G case, the tools and paperwork. Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
