  • Description: This bass is a Canadian handbuilt Kinal MK21 5 string model that features a beautiful Myrtlewood top and lightweight highly resonant Alder body with a satin finish. The 35" scale 21 fret Maple bolt-on neck has a Rosewood fingerboard with a real sleek fast feel. The pickups are the passive Bartolini 57CBJD "Hum-cancelling J" type and they are run through an 18 volt active Bartolini 3-band eq. system with mid-frequency and active/passive switches. The clarity of this bass is remarkable and it has one of the clearest and tightest sounding "B" strings that you will ever hear on a 5 string bass.
