  • Description: If you are a fan of PRS Private Stock guitars built by Joe Knaggs, you will love Joe's new models. The Knaggs Choptank is a single cutaway, “Tele style” six on a side, set neck long scale guitar.  The Choptank can be purchased in one of three finish levels.  This Tier 1 “Golden Natural” finished guitar is very rare - one of only two built for Artistic Guitars with a figured mahogany lamination layer.  It has an alder body covered with carved curly maple and a Mahogany lamination layer.  The figure of the neck and headstock is superb.  Gold hardware and a distinctive ebony pickguard give the Choptank a classy look.  Serial #25 with a rare Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, is inlayed with diamond patterns and a boat on the 12th fret.  3 Blues Special single coil pickups best that great Tele® twang sound.  We have low serial numbers of many models including the Choptank.  Please call for information and pricing.  Get a low serial number on order as these have gone quickly and become modern collectables.
