Luciano Maggi is an innovative guitar builder in Poppi Italy (east of Florence). Although he specializes in classical guitars he pushes the envelope on the designs and construction techniques and also builds some steel string instruments (and at least one 7 string viola da gamba). Always of the finest available materials and nearly every guitar is a one of a kind.

This ELE 99 employs a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. Appointments include multiple wood body binding and a wooden inlayed sound hole rosette. Several top and back dryness cracks have been professionally repaired and have not adversely affected it superb tone in any way.

A must have for any serious nylon string player.
