  • Description: Wow, talk about rare. Here is a Ludwig 3x13 Piccolo snare in the vintage Black Oyster finish with a Keystone badge.....and maple interior! I have NEVER seen a snare with maple interior possessing the vintage "Ringo" black oyster wrap and keystone badge. SN 667830. Date stamped Dec 196?. This puts it very close to my '68 black oyster downbeat kit. Close enough....find another. All original except the strainer appears to be a 70's. Overall very good condition. The wrap is very vibrant. Minor pitting on the hardware. Non-original snares. Sounds awesome with a great "crack" and "pop." The large thumbwheel of the throw off is not original. It works, just have to play with it a little. I have never seen another. This is for those that just have to have the rarest of the rare.
