Description

A fairly early example of the first-generation solid-state Echoplex with the small “Maestro” badge. Unlike the EP-4 iteration which came along some years later, the EP-3 retained the “sound-on-sound” function, an iconic Echoplex feature. Echo sustain and volume controls, recording level light, record light, input, output, echo/off and playback jacks, echo delay slider, and the aforementioned “sound on sound” switch, and intact manual label on inside of lid. Recently-serviced, fresh tape, In good electronic and mechanical working order and condition save for broken lid latches, sounds great, and creates sounds that are instantly recognizable. Designed by Don Dixon and Mike Battle and built by Market Electronics of Cleveland, Ohio.
