1948 Martin 00-18 Natural
Natural, a beautifully original yet aged pre-’49 Martin. It is fully serviced and plays great. It is small and light yet sounds huge. Vintage Martin fans know the sound is bigger than its size. It has a wide-grained Sitka Spruce top that is crack-free and a back that has dings, and scratches but no cracks. The frets are good and the tuners are original and working. Nobody in the past 75 years has put a strap button on the heel. We reset the neck (applause) so the action is great and the saddle sits high. It’s nicely yellowed with age and has lots of dings including a large ding on the bass side where your arm hangs. Comes with a nice original soft shell case.
