1971 Martin 00-18 Excellent, Hard, $2,995.00

Absolutely prime. The early 1970s produced some of the strongest, most solidly built, most powerful Martins ever, and this is a prime, prime example. Aside from its physical condition, which is 100% with no cracks or anything like that ever, its neck is a wonderful handful and straight as they come, and it balances out perfectly with the entire body, making for a hugely robust-sounding Martin guitar. Frets, everything else right there, original Grover Slimline tuners thankfully replaced by American-made Grover Rotomatics, the best, work done at the martin factory sometime in the later 1970s, when they added one coat of lacquer to the neck (only) to cover the extra teeny screw holes in the back of the peghead.
