We see many, many newer Martin models, and truthfully, most sound pretty much the same to us. This guitar is definitely an exception. In the old days, we would call this a "one-off" meaning that for reasons not completely known, this guitar just turned out better than its contemporaries. We are calling her near mint as she is nearly perfect; some may call this one mint, but we never use that term with a used guitar.
