1971 Martin 00-21 Excellent, Original Hard, $3,995.00

They just don't come any nicer than this one. The classic Martin design among all Martin designs, the 00-21 model was made continuously from about 1871 through the mid-1980s, a 100+-year run unequaled by anyone. This perfect example is from the early 1970s, a period we found at the time to have produced some of the most solidly-built Martins ever. So much so that I've recently had Martin's Custom Shop make me a few replicas, asking for early-70's specs just about all the way. All traditional dimensions here, including 1-7/8" nut width and 2-3/8" string spacing at the bridge. Condition is practically unplayed, with no repairs, no alterations, no indignities of any sort ever perpetrated on it. You'll not find a nicer one, might not find another at all as orders for these started dropping off for Martin in the 1970s, more's the pity. Has its original Martin hard shell case. $3995 w/ohsc
