It has darkened with time and does have a funny patina on the pickguard also the original owner wrote their initals on inside of the back, J.C. Thats heavy. Brazilian fingerboard and bridge. Original tuners.This guitar sounds great and is ready to be played for another fifty years This is a good Really good players instrument... May well have the famed "mystery" wood top.
