1999 Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton Signature Model
Based on the pre-war Martin Clapton used for his “MTV Unplugged” performance, this guitar features a classic 000 body, Spruce Top with Indian Rosewood back and sides, and an unbound Ebony fretboard. Other vintage-inspired appointments include herringbone binding and butterbean open-back tuners. Very good condition with light play wear, minor dings, and heavier finish checking on the top. The modified V-shaped neck has a great vintage feel and is very easy to play. This guitar has a wonderfully balanced tone full of warmth and a harmonically rich top end. Sturdy enough for heavy strumming, yet very responsive to a light touch, making it an excellent fingerpicker as well. A gorgeous modern interpretation of a pre-war 000-style Martin. Includes original hardshell case.

We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
