A solid Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides generates a powerful and inviting tone through a slightly smaller-sized body. A mahogany neck in a modified V contour features 20 frets secured snugly in a silky solid black ebony fingerboard. A classy pre-war Style 28 snowflake pattern along with Eric Clapton's signature add a touch of elegance to your performance.

The slightly smaller "000" body size preferred by Clapton still boasts a big sound when you hit it hard. That's due to the use of two classic acoustic guitar tonewoods: Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce. Sitka spruce will help bring a crispy bite that assists with tonal articulation. Rosewood's tonal characteristics are slightly less potent than mahogany, but you'll certainly have your sonic fix of lows, mids, and that irresistible natural warmth that Martin acoustic guitars are known for.

This axe's mahogany neck features 20 frets housed in a silky black ebony fingerboard. All frets boast a tight action and a smooth playability, and the slightly shorter scale length of 24.9" gives each string a loser feel that allows more flexibility.
