Custom-made for Willie’s with an Adirondack top and Martin’s VTS (Vintage Tone System - baked/torrefied for superior resonance and volume), Madagascar rosewood back and sides, Style 45 prewar snowflake inlays, Ambertone 1933 sunburst finish that really makes the abalone trim stand out. Scalloped (5/16”) Adirondack braces, 1 & 3/4” nut width, 24.9” scale length, modified low oval neck profile, C.F. Martin inlaid abalone logo and stunning choice abalone inlay around the top and the rosette. This is a stunning example of of Martin’s finest work using the finest materials. The tone is as choice as the woods used, with a bass that has a clear punch and lots of sustain. The 000 size has been gaining in popularity over the dreadnought for a lot of experienced players - easier to hold, and a loud but balanced tone. This is heirloom quality yet rather moderately priced given the materials and build quality. We waited almost 2 years for this one and we are excited to offer it to you.
