Description

Few acoustic guitars impress me right out of the box like these Martin 12-Fret Dreadnoughts. Wow! These guitars are extremely responsive with touch-sensitivity that easily allows you to play intimately or quite loudly depending on your attack. The body size and 12-fret geometry is the secret. This particular guitar was custom-ordered in 2014 and comes with: an Adirondack Spruce top with scalloped Adirondack braces; a fabulous set of straight-grained Cocobolo for the back and sides; Style 28 rosette, purfling and center back strip; a 12-fret Mahogany neck with modified V shape and 2-way adjustable truss rod; a black Ebony fretboard with 16" radius, 25.34" string scale, 1.75" nut and Style 42 abalone inlays; a black Ebony belly bridge with bone saddle and 2.25" string spacing; and a solid headstock with Cocobolo overlay and nickel Waverly tuners. Install the pickup of your choice and what an incredible stage guitar this would be! This guitar has never been retailed, but has seen some customer try-outs which resulted in some light shirt button scratches in the clear coat in the center of the back (see 'More Photos' link). These scratches are superficial and can only be seen upon very close inspection. Otherwise, this guitar is like new with no fret wear. It comes with it's original Martin Custom case, shroud, uninstalled strap pin and paperwork. This guitar had a retail price of $6K and would have sold for a street price of $5K. Get this lightly played and amazing instrument from Capital Guitar for far less. This is the fifth or sixth of these that I have invested in for our inventory. Buy this instrument and you will quickly see why I keep coming back for more!
