Gordon Lightfoot’s “Early Morning Rain” will be remembered by all as a signpost of the 1960s, along with "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” and many more. As one of the greatest Canadian singer/songwriters of all time, his work has been covered by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, and countless others. This Limited Edition Martin, number 24 of only 61 ever made, is in fine original condition and came to us from its original owner. The quilted mahogany back and sides, style-45 abalone-inlaid soundhole rosette, and genuine ebony fingerboard and bridge are only a few of its finer features. Getting right down to it, it is a most lovely, lightweight, superbly easy-playing Dreadnaught, with a tone that simply floats up from it.
