This is a modern recreation of a classic late 30's D-18, with thinner back and sides of all solid mahogany, Rosewood strips on the inside of the sides, a beautiful, solid silky Sitka Spruce top. The top sports forward shifted scalloped X bracing (which makes a guitar sound like a Martin- they invented it). The fingerboard and bridge are Ebony, the long saddle and nut are bone, it is LOUD, bright and punchy with plenty of bass. This guitar plays and sounds perfect!
