D-28 is easy to add dynamics from loud to delicate sounds

The D-28 has been modified from 1990 to 2000's.

If you take a look at the characteristics of each period, you will become more attached to the "Nippachi" that represents Martin.

This time we have a D-28 made in 2008.
The top spruce has changed its color to a more subdued color, giving it a unique used charm.
The Indian rosewood on the body back also has a nice reddish color.

The headstock is equipped with Gotoh shear type tuners with the Martin logo, which are in transitional stage of specification change as they will be gradually replaced by Grover from this year, 2008.
The gold decal logo shines on the top of the headstock, which is also a feature of this design.

The bracing pattern is non-scalloped X bracing.
The main body weight is heavy at 2.30 kg.
Although the correlation is not clear, it has a great volume that responds well to scratching strokes.
On the other hand, it can also express fragility because it produces a contoured sound even with delicate nuances.
Since it is easy to add dynamics throughout the performance, it may be perfect for storytelling.

The L.R. Baggs Lyric pickups can also be used as an electric acoustic, making this a truly "ready-to-play" instrument.

[ Exterior Condition].
No cracks or crack repairs.
The most noticeable area is a scratch on the cellular area on the lower 6th string side of the body top.
The paint is damaged and the wood is slightly visible, but there are no cracks.
Other scratches include a scratch on the top of the pickguard, and general scuffs and scratches.
There is a strap pin attached to the end of the neck.
The heel cap has been made/replaced after it arrived at our store.

[ playing condition].
The neck has been in good condition since we received it and no major maintenance has been done around the neck.
The frets are partially worn on the low position side, but the overall tone is still good enough to be used as is.
The neck has been adjusted so that there is no chattering or clogging, etc. Please rest assured.
The straight neck angle has been retained, and the nut and saddle have been replaced after arrival in order to bring out the full potential of the D-28.
This is a great example of the dreadnought rosewood sound.
