Music Store Live is proud to present this 2006 Martin D-45! Martin reports that nothing says you've "arrived" as a guitar player like a D-45 and we are seriously inclined to agree with them. This D-45 brings to the table a huge booming sound, a timeless and graceful feel and an unmistakable look that was born to turn heads. Countless players of the highest repute have called the D-45 their own and it is no wonder why. This 2006 model is a more than fine example of some of Martin's best work in the dreadnought department. The playability on this guitar could not be dialed in any tighter. The action is set low / medium low for great sustain, speed and a terrific response. The neck is straight and the intonation is spot on. The body is extremely resonant. This axe is a beast that slays every style it plays.

This Martin D-45 features a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood sides and back. The mahogany neck features a low profile, bound ebony fretboard and 45 style hexagon inlays. The top is braced with a standard X scalloped pattern. The top, back and sides are adorned with abalone pearl inlay as well which make for a striking appearance. Other standout features include an ebony belly bridge, east Indian rosewood headplate with with C.F. Martin Block abalone inlay, gold enclosed tuners with large buttons ( that are a dream come true to work with ), a tortoise color pickguard and a molded black hard shell case. Serial number # 112302.

This 2006 Martin D-45 is in near mint condition. There is hardly any evidence of this guitar being played. Aside from a low number of faint pick marks on the pick guard there are no marks on this guitar at all. The frets are in excellent condition.

This is an outstanding dreadnought and one that makes a bold statement everywhere it goes both visually and sonically. It not only picks with the absolute best of them, it looks like a million bucks doing it. This is for the player who knows they deserve something a little special. Enjoy!
