  • Description: 2003 Martin DXM is all original, in excellent condition, and perfect playing order. Comes with a nice hard shell case. Details: Dreadnought body style, 15 3/4" lower bout width, 11 1/2" upper bout width, 20" body length, 3 7/8" upper bout body depth and 4 5/8" upper bout body depth, 1 11/16" nut width that tapers out to 2 3/32" at 12th fret, 25 1/2" scale length, weighs 4 pounds 12 ounces. Materials: Spruce pattern HPL (high-pressure laminate) with textured finish, Mahogany pattern HPL with textured finish back and sides, set Stratabond neck with mortise and tenon joint, Richlite fingerboard, 20 frets, Rosewood bridge, tusq nut and bridge, tortoise shell pickguard. Hardware: Chrome enclosed tuning keys with Martin embossed. Cosmetics: Very clean aesthetic condition. No dings, dents, bumps, or breaks. Has minor scuffing from being played but is nothing major and can only be seen in proper lighting. Playability: The neck is a medium C profile and has a satin finish. Setup in-house with 12-53 strings that sit at 5/64 on low E and 4/64 on high E. Brief History: C. F. Martin and Company have been building guitars since 1838 and is the oldest guitar manufacturer on the world. Martin is known for their impeccable craftsmanship and phenomenal tone. The "X" series was introduced in 1998 to offer a lesser expensive model for players who couldn't afford the high dollar Martin guitars, and are constructed from High Pressure Laminate.
