Description

1931 OM-28... one of the most sought after pre-war Martins, and in my opinion, the best sounding acoustic guitar ever made. Extremely rare and in original condition, with honest playing wear. Its an original belly bridge Martin, yet I believe original banjo tuner'd.... so transitional. The banjo tuners on it in the photos are repros, but there is an original set of 1931 Grover G-98s that come with the guitar. I like the look of the banjo tuners, but the Grovers are way better if you want to stay in tune, and the holes for them are already there. Your choice. No cracks in the top or back, just an old seam re-glue... there is one crack on the treble side with an ancient repair (see photos). No overspray or finish touch ups. No cracks or headstock breaks. Bridge plate is original, bridge looks replaced but its the right size. I believe its been reset and refretted, and so it plays perfectly. Its what finger pickers dream about! And yes it comes with the original hard case!
