Description

Here is a unique and extremely cool guitar for your consideration, one of just two made, with the other in the builder's personal collection. This is an an early piece by Michael Tuttle, a Hollow Gold Top, built in 2009. This one-of-a-kind instrument offers a mixture of Fender, Gibson and Gretsch influences, resulting in a superb guitar that can cover a lot of bases! The specs for this beauty include: a chambered Mahogany body with a total guitar weight of just 6 pounds, 10 ounces; 24.75" scale length; a medium to large C-shaped Mahogany neck with depth measurements of .865" at the first fret, increasing to .930" at the twelfth fret; a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with 12" radius, 6150 stainless steel frets and a 1.67" bone nut; a Tone-Pros bridge; Kluson locking tuners; and for electronics, TV Jones Power'Tron humbuckers with a three-way toggle, volume and tone controls. The shape makes you feel right at home, the Mahogany/Brazilian construction gives it tonal depth and the TV Jones pickups (developed in part by ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons) give this guitar great mids with lots of output and drive when you want it. As a Tuttle, the playability is top flight as Michael is a fret work genius. This guitar is in seemingly unplayed condition too, with not a mark or issue that I can find. Comes with it's similarly mint G&G case, tools and paperwork. This is a guitar with lots of attitude and one that is sure to please. Make it yours!
