The bass features a lightweight highly resonant Alder body with a gorgeous Maple Burl top and a matching peg head veneer all with a custom color satin finish that was created to blend with the fingerboard. The 35" scale 24 fret 2 octave asymmetrical one-piece Maple bolt-on neck has a Purpleheart fingerboard and a real sleek feel. The pickups are the Bartolini "soapbar" type and they are run through an active Bartolini 3-band eq. system that has a push/pull mid shift and bypass switches.
