Description

Offered is this incredible PRS Modern Eagle that I recently acquired on trade. This amazing instrument was built in 2007 but never left the PRS factory until 2012 when PRS released a batch of these previously unsold Modern Eagle 1 guitars calling them the " NOS Modern Eagle" model. Before offering these guitars for sale, PRS first brought them up to current spec, installing the new Phase II locking tuners along with any other refurbishing that was necessary. Accordingly, this guitar has two PRS "bird tags;" one issued in 2007 when it was first built and a second newer tag issued when this guitar was released for sale in 2012. This incredible instrument has a solid Brazilian Rosewood neck and fretboard with Wide Fat carve. It also has a Private Stock grade flame Maple top and very thin nitro finish, in this case done in Yellow Tiger. The total weight of this guitar is 7.8 pounds. This guitar is completely stock with but one exception, that being the installation of a set of fantastic ThroBak humbuckers to replace the factory PRS pickups (sorry, I do not have the originals). This guitar is in mint/near mint condition with virtually no significant flaws and the frets look terrific. This amazing guitar comes with an equally incredible suede leather case, along with all the original paperwork and accessories. I've seen this model offered for nearly $7K elsewhere, but you can have this incredible guitar for quite a bit less. A great opportunity to own an amazing PRS instrument!
