  • Description: One of a few McCarty Prototypes. VERY RARE AND COLLECTABLE! They didn't issue the first production McCarty until 1994, so this is pre-production (check the serial # in the pics). Even more rare is the fact that it has a Trem! PRS ultimately decided that, in keeping with the "McCarty as LP killer" concept, the McCarty should not have a Trem. It was not until years later that the McCarty was first available with a Trem. These pickups sound really amazing - not like the darker tone of the earliest production McCarty pickups. This guitar is in 9.5/10 condition, with some light hazing, easily seen on a black guitar.
