Brief History: The story of Peavey Electronics begins in 1957 in the basement of a Mississippi home. Hartley Peavey, founder of Peavey Electronics, had recently seen a Bo Diddley concert which gave him the "spark" to build his first amplifier. Thus, Peavey was born. The company got off the ground in 1965, and haven't looked back since. "Peavey® is one of the world's largest manufacturers of musical instruments and professional sound equipment. Peavey has earned more than 180 patents and produces more than 2,000 products, which are distributed throughout the United States and to 136 other countries. Peavey and its MediaMatrix®, Architectural Acoustics®, Crest Audio®, Composite Acoustics® and Trace Elliot® brands and affiliates can be found on concert stages and in more than 5,000 airports, stadiums, theme parks and other venues around the world." Cosmetics: Very clean condition; no dings, chips, or tears in tolex. Minor scuffing in the tolex on the bottom but nothing major. No rust or stripped screws, the previous owner clearly took excellent care of this amp.
