On Hold!
Description

"Attention to detail." If you can say one thing about Paul, it's that he pays great attention to detail and that attribute is heavily reflected in the craftsmanship and sheer beauty of this McCarty 594. I know Paul in a peripheral manner: my business partner and I have, in the past found and bought 2 Custom 24s, serial numbers 5 0001 and 5 0002. Even at that very early stage in his career, Paul was already doing what I just discussed; paying attention to the details and that, I can appreciate.

This McCarty is a stunning guitar in both visual appeal and build. It has a very comfortable and low action, which lends itself to an effortless play. The coloring is deeply appealing and the twin 58/15 LT Treble and Bass pickups are bright, articulate, and commanding. You'll especially appreciate the extremely low weight of 8 lbs and the comfortable, full Pattern Vintage neck profile. Here are the specs for the so-inclined:

effortless
• Tobacco Sunburst Finish
• Figured Maple "10 Top"
• Mahogany Neck
• Pattern Vintage Carve
• Indian Rosewood Fretboard
• Bird Inlays
• Hybrid Hardware
• 58/15 LT Pickups
• 2-Piece PRS Stoptail Bridge
• PRS Phase III Locking Tuners
• Two Volume and Two Push/Pull Tone Controls
• 3-Way Toggle Pickup Switch
• 8 lbs

While we all like 'em dead mint and unplayed, I found two small pin tip dings on the lower edge beneath the rear electronics cover and a visible ding on the butt edge, near the lower strap button. You'll have to look for these, but they're there and I feel must be mentioned. The original hardshell case and paperwork are included and pictured. Please look at the photos, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
