Description: This guitar is gorgeous, but it's not without issues. The ONLY thing original about this is the wood, the nut, and the truss rod cover. The pickups are "hot" toasters from the 90s. Neck pickup is a long pole, which means that someone drilled pole-piece holes, as Rickenbacker has done from time to time. The pickguard is from a 325V59. The Kauffman vibrato is from a C58. The Rogan knobs are re-issues. The jack plate is not stamped. The good news? This guitar's a long-soundhole '58, and extremely rare. Everyday I'm going to properly restore it, but I just can't get to it. The neck is highly figured. This one sounds and plays great. 50s Rickenbackers have wider and flatter fretboards than later models. OHSC greenish silver case with red lining. I'm getting a million emails about this, so let me clarify...the finish is 100% ORIGINAL. I know its a '58 because it has a long soundhole, and yes I know its not as long as the really early 58s, but its shorter than the standardized soundhole, which became standard in mid/late 58. The TRC is not original to this guitar, but its from a '58. If you'd rather have a trap tailpiece, I have a reissue one I can slap on there; the bracket's the same. Also, I didn't part this one out. It wasn't me.
