Description
The guitar that created one of the most distinctive signature tones...and terms...in rock history. This guitar defines "Jingle-Jangle".

It was cast into rock history by Roger McGuinn of the Byrds (after seeing George Harrison), and followed by Tom Petty, Pete Townshend, Carl Wilson, The Edge, John Frusciante and a host of others.

The signature tone of the 360/12's toaster pickups, maple body and neck (with rosewood and sparkle-inlaid fingerboard), plus both mono and stereo outputs, combined with Rickenbacker's unique method of reversing the usual 12-string order by placing the octave strings on the treble side is as valid and useful today as it was in the mid-60's.

This is a particularly nice example with little color fade, nice flame in the maple top, and well-maintained for playing. It's seen its share of stage time as evidenced by the finish wear on the back, but conversely the top shows very little wear. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners are in fine shape.

A very fine piece with tone that is a huge part of our musical heritage.
