Description: 2008 Rickenbacker 370 Jetglo Black Absolute Mint Condition Toaster Top PUs Factory Option 370 Model No Longer Available Beautiful Lightweight & Sweet In the old days, Rickenbacker made three pickup versions of the 370, and there was great fun to be had by those who think that if two pickups is good, then three pickups must be better. Even more fun was optioning the 370 with the Factory Scatterwound Toaster-Top Vintage Style Pickups. It's the same pickups Ric installs on all their premium and special edition models. It's a $300 Option. The six string three pickup 370 was quietly removed from the Ric catalogue in 2007. So was the Toaster-Top Vintage Pickup Factory Option. So if you had none on order then, you were out of luck. A customer bought this from me new, along with several other fabulous Rics that are no longer available. He called me last year and said he is thinning out his extensive Ric collection. I was lucky to get this guitar and several others. I don't think he ever played it after the day he bought it. There isn't a mark or a bit of playing wear. All papers and toys included, including a full line Ric Catalogue(can't get those for years now), warranty card stub(warrantee card was sent in, but the stub is there), Made In USA Sticker still on the pickguard, Owner's Manual, case key, Ric Polish Cloth, original Ric hard case also included. Just like you went back in time and got a new one. Can't get these today from Ric... Action is low, neck is straight. Neck has a nice heft to it, not huge, but not small either, very pleasant. Ric changed the Inlays on the 360 and 370 from a partial width sharks tooth type to a full width in 2008. So this guitar has the large sharks tooth inlays. Low action, easy fretting, and a range of tones from sweet jangle to growling rock are available easily. Frets are shiny and unworn, and the guitar looks awesome.
