1973 Rickenbacker 4001 Azureglo

This is a very nice playing and sounding Rickenbacker 4001, made in the USA in 1973. This was the last year for the checkerboard binding and toaster pickup, cool early features that this bass retains. These are rare to find in the blue "azureglo" finish. This example is in excellent playing condition, but is not 100% original. The neck pickup has been rewound, and the pots are replaced. Also, the neck pickup cavity was slightly deepened (although not widened). Aside from that, and some normal play wear, everything is original. The bass has been pro-setup in our shop and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original hard case.

Guitars are shipped by Fedex ground unless other arrangements are made. Guitars are usually shipped within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer a 48 hour no questions asked return policy. If you don't like it, just send it back and we will issue a refund. We do not refund shipping charges and if you pay with a credit card there is a 5% restocking fee. If you pay with cash, check, paypal, or bank wire there is no restocking fee.
