  • Description: SD Curlee made an interesting design with the three piece maple neck going about 3/4 into the body . Built in the great ' whose guitar can outsustain anyone else's period'. Of course brass nut, maple neck [ 34"] brass bridge. If you recall this period ,you know what I'm describing here folks, It was built to be an afordable Alembic. Also very similar to the great Daion's from the same time period . Very nice condition but does have some average playware. P-style Pickup is very strong. The mini switch works as a bypass to the tone control..Not all SD Curlee's say hondo on the headstock . but every one I've seen or played is about the same quality. You would have to ask the boys in 'marketing' for details on this. for more info and photos please visit www.diamondstrings.com
