Description

I've never played a Sadowsky instrument that didn't impress me and this Jim Hall Model archtop is no different. Oh what a delicious guitar! With it's 16" wide lower bout and 2 3/4" depth, this gorgeous guitar is a bit smaller than the D'Aquisto and ES-137 models that is was based upon. It's body is made of laminated Maple, which the builder has said allows for a thinner top with better acoustic response and more resistance to feedback. The scale length of this model is 24 3/4" and the nut width is 1 3/4". This particular guitar weighs just 6.2 pounds. The lovely maple neck has a depth of .860" at the first fret. While it has only a single, neck position humbucker, I love the rich tone of this instrument and the playability is just superb. I've set it up with .12 gauge electric nickel-wounds. This instrument is in excellent plus condition, with some very light clearcoat haze on the headstock from string changes and a few hard to find shirt button scuffs on the back of the guitar. Otherwise this guitar is in superb condition and the frets show little to no wear. It comes with it's original TKL case, truss rod tool and custom made foam f-hole inserts to further diminish feedback. This is an exquisite guitar that is sure to please. Indulge yourself with this fabulous Sadowsky archtop.....
