  • Description: The D/PW is a rosewood dreadnought designed to provide the sophisticated tone and playability SCGC is famous for at a price below any other SCGC dreadnought. This guitar incorporates all of Santa Cruz's extensive experience in making acoustic guitars, and puts it to work in an elegant but simpler format. The PW refers to pre-War advanced X bracing. This style bracing gives the guitar an incredible presence and bass response yet retains a good balance with strong midrange and bright powerful treble response. The advanced X bracing also makes the guitar very responsive for fingerstyle playing as well as powerful rhythm bass lines. Sitka Spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, Ebony board and bridge, bone nut and saddle, open-geared Gotoh tuners, gloss Nitrocellulose lacquer finish. 25.4" scale and 1-11/16" nut.
