Thiis is, essentially, a Gold Standard with a Sterling Silver inlaid line rather than a gold one. The line forms the demarcation between the Maccassar Ebony and the Gambon Ebony running through the tailpiece, pickguard, fretboard and headstock overlay. This is rare and incredibly fine instrument by one todays finest luthiers as well as a truly collectible one-of-a-kind guitar. This guitar is soon to be featured in an Acoustic Gutar Magazine article which will only serve to enhance its reputation. Also just a note about the color: There is an ever so slight hint of color around the edges - just barely noticeable. It a very beautiful effect when viewed in person, but it does not show up well in the photos. It's pictured on Steve Andersens website under Fresh Fish, so if you want to see a photo that shows the color a bit more accurately, check it out there.
