  • Description: This dreadnaught sized cutaway flat top has surprisingly good sound for a laminate guitar. Laminated mahogany back and sides with a lam spruce top, traditional X bracing, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard and bridge. The guitar had on-board electronics when new but they no longer work, so a Dean Markley under saddle pickup with pre-amp has been installed but is not connected to the original on-board controls. The top is flat and the neck straight with an excellent angle. The action is set low and fast with plenty of saddle showing. Intonation is good and the guitar plays with no buzz. Cosmetically clean with only a few minor scuffs and dings. The sound is bright with plenty of volume. A very good choice for a beginner player or as a beater/travel guitar that you don't have to worry about. Comes with a '80s Martin hardshell case. $325.
