Available is a brand new Teuffel Tesla Trem model in "Sand" The Tesla has a 25 1/2” scale and 1 & 11/16” nut width. This variation includes some quite rare and desirable features, such as the Sand finish with Ebony accents and RWB Tremolo.
The pickups are Ulrich's medium output Split coils in the neck and middle positions and an Alnico 8 Humbucker in the bridge position. The Splitoils have beautiful bell like clarity and a rich and full tonal spectrum, this pickup is more Fullerton leaning while also being hum-canceling; as each pickup has two coils. One for the bass strings and one for the treble strings. The two coils are wound together in series. The bridge pickup is an Alnico 8 humbucker which has a great growling P-90 meets PAF type tone. It cleans up very nicely with your volume knob. This Tesla excels both clean or overdriven.
You'll find three momentary "noise buttons" on the treble side of the guitars body: 1= internal mic on, 2 = kill switch and 3 = 60 cycle hum switch. While activated the buttons bypass the pickups. Playing or tapping on the guitars body while holding down the mic can lead to some very unique "dobro in space" type sounds.
The RWB Trem is incredibly smooth and responsive. It can either be setup to float or locked into place, for a hardtail like experience.
Comes with custom HSC, COA, tools needed for adjustments and instructional manual. If your'e looking for a Teuffel Tesla, you'd be hard pressed to find a sweeter sounding, playing or more resonant example.
