  • Description: SOLD! This UK made early 1970 VOX AC30 Top Boost is in very good to excellent condition, delivers real tube driven warmth with features like reverb and tremolo. The panel is very clean, has all its original knobs and the tolex + grill are in good shape. Celestion speakers are T1221 G12M25, one with original cone code, the other being a very good recone. Transformers are completely original and very few resistors have been changed as needed though most of the point to point circuit with its mustard caps is original... especially where it really counts - the ever important trannies... Having heard as well as owned quite a few of these great foundational amps, I can frankly say this particular amp exhibits all the traditional qualities of a great AC30: Drive, sustain, sparkle, chime & superb feedback are all here at approximately half the price of its 60' predecessor. Tremolo footswitch is included and compared to any newer AC30, this really is a great bargain. This is a SUPER just serviced vintage Vox all tube amp that works perfectly, sounds fantastic and is ready to ROCK for many more years to come!
